Complete Spiti Circuit from Chandigarh

Your journey begins as you drive from Chandigarh to Narkanda. The route passes through pine forests, apple orchards, and scenic mountain roads. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax amidst the cool mountain air. In the evening, you can take a short walk to Hatu Peak or enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay in Narkanda.

After breakfast, proceed towards the beautiful Sangla Valley. The drive takes you along the Sutlej River, offering breathtaking mountain views. Upon arrival, check into your hotel or riverside camp. Later, visit Kamru Fort and explore the local market. Spend your evening by the Baspa River enjoying the calm atmosphere. Overnight stay in Sangla.
 

Today, enjoy an excursion to Chitkul, the last inhabited village on the Indo-Tibetan border. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks and wooden houses, Chitkul is often called “The Last Village of India.” Visit the Mathi Temple, walk along the river, and enjoy local Himachali cuisine at small village cafés. Return to Sangla by evening. Overnight stay in Sangla.
 

After breakfast, drive to Kalpa, a charming village known for its apple orchards and spectacular views of the Kinner Kailash Range. Visit Roghi Village and enjoy a leisurely walk through traditional Kinnauri homes. Spend your evening watching the sunset over the snow-capped peaks. Overnight stay in Kalpa.
 

Start early and head towards Tabo, one of the most spiritual villages in Spiti Valley. On the way, stop at Nako Lake, a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by willow trees. Upon reaching Tabo, visit the 1,000-year-old Tabo Monastery, famous for its murals and ancient art. Overnight stay in Tabo.
 

After breakfast, visit the Dhankar Monastery, dramatically located on a cliff overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers. If time allows, you can also trek to Dhankar Lake. Later, continue your drive to Kaza, the headquarters of Spiti Valley. Spend your evening exploring local cafés and the Kaza Market. Overnight stay in Kaza.

After breakfast, begin your high-altitude village exploration. Visit Langza, known for its fossils and the giant Buddha statue; Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office; and Komic, one of the highest villages in the world. Enjoy the peaceful Himalayan views and return to Kaza by evening. Overnight stay in Kaza.

Today, drive through Losar Village and cross the stunning Kunzum Pass (4,551 m) to reach Chandratal Lake, famously known as the “Lake of the Moon.” Take a short walk to the lake and admire its crystal-clear blue waters surrounded by snow-clad peaks. Spend the evening stargazing at your campsite near the lake. Overnight stay in Chandratal.
 

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise at Chandratal, then drive towards Manali via Batal,  Chatru , Gramphu, & Atal Tunnel. The route is adventurous, with raw landscapes and dramatic mountain views. On arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening relaxing or exploring Mall Road. Overnight stay in Manali.

After breakfast, start your return journey to Chandigarh. Drive along the Beas River and through the scenic Kullu Valley, Mandi Pandoh Dam , Sunder nagar Lake , Govind Sangar Lake  Arrive by evening with unforgettable memories of your Spiti Valley adventure and the mesmerizing beauty of the Himalayas.
